Fast Fact #9

Bonifacio Trivia:

  • Bonifacio had a number of cedula under different names. He really could tear those in different places - not just in balintawak.

  • Unlike Aguinaldo, Andres read Rizal's noli and el fili. He also read International Law, Spanish Penal Code and Civil Code.
  • The "cry" did not produce any shouting; just a symbol for bravery.
  • The Supremo was not poor, he was a middle class man. He may be richer than today's middle income earners, having been an employee of an English company (Fleming and Co.) as an agent and a German one (Fressel and Co.) as storekeeper/warehouseman, and a farm owner (with laborers). NO MASON WAS POOR OR UNEDUCATED.
