The Lebanon coach Veselin Matic reportedly said that the Team Gilas was an easy match-up for his squad rahter than Iran. The Team Gilas felt disrespected of those comments, and to make sure that they will correct Lebanon's coach perception with a 82-70 win in the quarterfinals of the FIBA Asia Championship.
"Irrespective of why those comments were made and I'm sure they weren't believed by the person who made them, it was still, when fans read that, it's a disrespectful comment," said coach Tab Baldwin.
"That's the way we chose to take it. We felt like we would earn our respect on the floor," he added.
