Fernandez, main suspect of killing karen kaye was gunned down yesterday on an island/islet of Getafe, porvince of Bohon before the Lapu-Lapu policement arrived with warrants to arrest him. The Police said that before they reaced the shore past 5pm using two pump boats they heared gunshots fired.
“We don’t know who killed him. This is still being investigated,” said Senior Supt. Armando Radoc, Lapu-Lapu police chief in a press conference.
As for the motive, investigator said Robbery was the motive in killing Karen Kaye, she let drug-user into her house because she trusted them when she saw the suspect accompanied a close family friend. The 23 yr-old suspect Ruben Fernandez took the DSLR camera and pawned it for 5000.00 to buy drugs.
